LACA Member Exhibition

LACA Member Exhibition

studio mccrackin is thrilled to have 2 pieces included in the Ludington Area Center for the Arts Annual Member Show.  Come see my latest mixed media piece, an image transfer that is reverse-painted and has collage elements, AND is a familiar scene - the 5th Ave. lighthouse and pier in Manistee!  I also have a collage piece that includes a page from the dictionary - combining my favorite things - books and art!

In celebration of the LACA Member Exhibit, LACA will host a FREE public artist reception Friday, Sept. 4 from 4-7 p.m. offering a vibrant and welcoming opportunity to view the exhibit, meet many of the participating artists, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. The reception is free and open to the public.

Many of the works on display will be available for purchase. Investing in local artwork not only brings original, meaningful pieces into homes and businesses, but also directly supports working artists and helps sustain the arts within the community. Proceeds from art sales also benefit LACA, helping the organization continue to provide accessible arts programming and cultural experiences throughout the region.

“This is a great way to support the arts and artists in our community,” said LACA Executive Director Andrew Skinner. “When you support your local arts sceneyou help develop your community's culture, and grow the economy by stimulating business."
